• The subscription fee is PLN 8.70 per month for radio and PLN 27.30 for radio and television.
• The subscription fee must be paid by the 25th of each month. You can also pay in one payment for the entire year.
• Failure to make timely payments or ignore the summonses may result in the initiation of enforcement proceedings.

The RTV subscription fee must be paid for each month in advance, by the 25th day of the month. In 2025, the subscription fee is:

• radio - PLN 8.70 per month (if the subscriber pays a fee every month, the fee for a 12-month period will be PLN 104.40 ),
• television and radio - PLN 27.30 per month (if the subscriber pays a fee every month, the fee for a 12-month period will be PLN 327.60 ).

The following persons are obliged to pay the RTV licence fee:

• individuals - one subscription fee regardless of the number of receivers used in the household or car;
• companies and institutions - fee for each radio and television receiver used;
• healthcare entities (that are not entrepreneurs within the meaning of the provisions on healthcare activities), sanatoriums, nurseries, public and non-public educational institutions, public and non-public universities, social welfare homes - a single fee, regardless of the number of receivers used in the same building, complex of buildings or in cars.

According to "Dziennik.pl", the penalty for failure to pay the RTV subscription fee is 30 times the monthly rate, i.e.:

• 261 PLN for the radio
• PLN 819 for television or television and radio.

If someone is in arrears with a fee, they may receive a demand to settle the debt, and after it is delivered, they have seven days to pay the arrears - explains the portal.

Failure to pay on time and ignoring the summons may result in the initiation of enforcement proceedings. "As a result, the office may secure the funds in the debtor's account - the penalty may be collected from the salary, pension or disability pension, " we read.
