The European Congress of Sport and Tourism has been a place in recent years where the most important figures from the world of sport, tourism and public administration could exchange their experiences. During the two previous editions, there was no shortage of substantive talks and constructive discussions.

There will be no shortage of this now. During this year's edition, over 30 discussion panels, divided into five thematic blocks, await the participants. The current state of Polish sport will be discussed by, among others, Olympic medalists, representatives of sports associations and popular and recognized journalists dealing with sports.

- First of all, it will bring a lot of new content. I think that it will be content that is not published on a daily basis, because it is not news-related. These are more serious analyses, serious thematic discussions, even monographic ones, but it is not possible to gather people from the community in one place on a daily basis. I have information from the organizers that there will be over 1.5 thousand invited guests, so it will be a unique opportunity for the community to discuss these very lofty and far-reaching topics, such as the Olympic Games in Poland, but also the most down-to-earth and most important ones, namely the physical culture of our nation - admitted Marian Kmita , Sports Director of Telewizja Polsat.

- I have the pleasure of participating in a panel that will address the challenges that technological changes and social media pose to the world of sports. Sometimes even undefined, but very serious. On the one hand, they open up new possibilities, but on the other, they pose a threat to traditional forms of broadcasting sports events. I am very curious about the opinions of my fellow panelists and what they see as the pros and cons of these changes - said Janusz Uznański, Operations Director of the Polish Volleyball Federation.
