Further reinforcements for the PlusLiga newcomer. On board, among others, a former ZAKSA volleyball player

The 30-year-old, 204 cm tall Fasteland played in the PlusLiga last season for Barkomie Każany Lviv, scoring 235 points, including 74 blocks. He began his career at Rossavoll VBK and continued at Nyborg Bergen.

Apart from his native country, he also played in the Belgian leagues (Volley Lindemans Asse-Lennik and Knack Volley Roeselare), the Dutch league (Draisma Dynamo Apeldoorn and Par-ky Menen) and the French league (Tourcoing Lille Metropole), winning, among others, the Norwegian Cup and Championship, the Super Cup, the Belgian Cup and Championship, and second place in the CEV Cup.
For the 27-year-old Jacznik, this is a return to the Chełm club where he played in the 2022/23 season, from where he moved to MKST Astra Nowa Sól.
He previously played for SMS PZPS Spała, AZS Politechniki Opolskiej, AZS AGH Kraków, Bielawianka Bester Bielawa, Krishome KPS Września, ZAKSIE Strzelce Opolskie and ZAKSIE Kędzierzyn-Koźle. Last season, he played 30 games in the Ekstraklasa, scoring 79 points.
Earlier, the club announced the acquisition of attacker Remigiusz Kapica, middle blocker Jakub Turski and libero Jędrzej Gruszczyński.
In the InPost ChKS team, still led by Krzysztof Andrzejewski, seven volleyball players remained from the team that won promotion in spectacular style: attacker Jędrzej Goss, setter Jay Blankenau, middle blockers Mariusz Marciniak and Łukasz Swodczyk, and receivers Łukasz Łapszyński, Tomasz Piotrowski and Paweł Rusin.
The inauguration of the PlusLiga games is scheduled for October 22, and in the first round of the debut season the Chełm team will travel to the capital - to PGE Projekt.
