Iga Świątek found herself in the spotlight. Big stir at Wimbledon

Iga Świątek found herself in the spotlight. Big stir at Wimbledon

After her first two victories at Wimbledon, Iga Świątek was asked about tournament towels in post-match conversations. It was pointed out with a smile that this was a special kind of attribute, for which many friends of the players approached them – on the occasion of the tournament in London.

The Pole confirmed this trend with a smile. But as it turned out, the issue of... strawberries with pasta had a much wider echo. Yes, Świątek confessed that this is a unique delicacy from Poland, which she eats during Wimbledon - which stunned the locals.

There's a big stir in London. It's about... strawberries with pasta!

What's more, during the press conference, Świątek, once again touching on the strawberry-pasta theme, added that in her opinion, Polish strawberries are better than those found at Wimbledon. Each has its advantages, they are different, but when asked to compare and indicate which ones are better, Świątek opted for Polish strawberries.

The whole strawberry thread and the delicacy straight from Poland, combined with pasta, resonated very widely among fans. The Polish woman even posted a photo of a prepared, summery, tasty meal. It quickly became a hit on social media.

On the American channel ESPN it was time for another episode. Straight from Wimbledon, during the live program... they tried strawberries with pasta.

Unfortunately, they did not find recognition.

However, Świątek decided to respond by pointing out errors in the preparation of the dish.

"No, no, no... you have to mash the strawberries and have different proportions! Less pasta, more strawberries," Świątek wrote with a smile under the video.

Well, maybe there will be another installment of this strawberry series.
