Nawrocki watched the Ekstraklasa friendly. Is there a deeper meaning to the matter?

Karol Nawrocki's sports interests were much discussed during the election campaign. The PiS-backed candidate's campaign team repeatedly emphasized his boxing past. Opponents, on the other hand, drew attention to his acquaintance with hooligans, participation in a brawl, and tattoos of Chelsea and Lechia Gdańsk.
Nawrocki watched Raków's sparring match while on vacationHowever, it was not Lechia's friendly match that the future president of Poland decided to watch. Nawrocki was spotted in Arłamów at a friendly match played between Raków Częstochowa and FK Železiarne Podbrezová. The second team of the Ekstraklasa hosted the sixth team from the 1st, Slovak league (the highest level of the local competition).
The politician watching the match from the stands came across a successful sports spectacle. Raków defeated their opponents 4:1 with goals from Oskar Repka, Apostolos Konstantopoulos, Patryk Makuch and Zoran Arsenic. The opponents responded only with a goal from Radek Siler.
Nawrocki at the match. The journalist is looking for a second meaningWP journalist Karol Wiak, who described Nawrocki's activity, searched for a hidden meaning in the president-elect's activity. According to him, "this seemingly incidental gesture may have a deeper meaning". He claims that the politician's visit to the sparring was not accidental. "It is rather a clear signal: the new president intends to actively support sports - not from behind a desk, but from the level of the stands," he wrote.
"In the context of Karol Nawrocki's upcoming presidency, it is worth closely observing such events. Sport can not only gain a strong advocate in the Presidential Palace, but also a partner who knows its realities from personal experience - not from reports and briefings," the author argued.
"Does this mean greater support for infrastructure, local clubs, and the promotion of a healthy lifestyle? Time will tell. But we can already say today: this is a president who does not only talk about sports. He really lives sports," he emphasized.
