Surprise! 44-year-old stops Inter! End of dreams in KMŚ
Up until now, the situation in the Club World Cup had been clear. In the Brazilian duel, Palmeiras had been better than Botafogo (1-0), and then the competition was dominated by European teams - Chelsea, Paris Saint-Germain and Bayern Munich. It seemed that they would be joined by the Champions League finalist, Inter Milan.
The Italian club, after victories over Urawa Red Diamonds (2:1) and River Plate (2:0), faced Flamengo, which had two draws in the group stage and defeated Ulsan HD (4:2). Inter was the favourite for this clash, but it quickly turned out that advancing to the quarter-finals would not be an easy task for them.

And when the 44-year-old couldn't save the ball, the Argentine hit the post and Flamengo finally pulled off a surprise. And won 2-0, because Hercules scored in injury time!
