Szymon Marciniak to lead the World Championship semi-final! An absolute hit
Szymon Marciniak will be the referee for Wednesday's semi-final of the FIFA Club World Cup in the United States between Paris Saint-Germain and Real Madrid, FIFA announced.
As usual, he will be assisted on the lines by Tomasz Listkiewicz and Adam Kupsik, and the fourth official will be Algerian Mustapha Ghorbal.
This will be the third match that the 44-year-old from Płock will referee in this event. He previously refereed the group stage match between Inter Miami and Brazilian Palmeiras (2:2) and the round of 16 match between Real and Juventus (1:0).
The match between two of Europe's top teams will be played on Wednesday at 9:00 p.m. CET in East Rutherford.
On Tuesday, the first semi-final between Fluminense Rio de Janeiro and Chelsea will be led by Frenchman Francois Letexier.
