Amadora-Sintra emergency department reopens

The emergency service at Hospital Professor Doutor Fernando Fonseca (HFF), suspended since Wednesday due to a total breakdown of the computer system, was resumed this morning, the hospital announced.
In a statement, the Amadora/Sintra Local Health Unit informs that the problem has been solved and the systems are operational again, allowing the normal functioning of all services and the reopening of emergency rooms.
Technical teams continue to monitor and reassess the functioning of the systems, hour by hour, as a preventative measure.
