Israel orders relocation of Gaza residents to southern part of enclave

Israel on Wednesday ordered residents of the Zeitun neighborhood in Gaza to move to the southern part of the enclave, more precisely to the Al Mawasi area.
"Warning to all those who have not yet left the areas in the Zeitun neighborhood: As previously announced, the army continues to intensify its operations to the west; for your safety, move immediately south towards Al Mawasi," read a post by army spokesman Avichay Adraee on social media.
Data from the United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA) shows that Al Mawasi already has 425,000 people without access to electricity or drinking water.
The displacement orders come as Israeli media reported on the Israeli government's intention to move towards full control of the Gaza Strip.
