Seven arrested by PSP

In a statement, this security force indicates that there were four arrests for driving a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol, two for the crime of disobedience and one arrested for compliance with an arrest/driving warrant.
In terms of road traffic control, several operations were carried out, and several drivers were subjected to breathalyzer tests. During the same period, regarding road accidents, "13 traffic accidents were recorded, of which one minor injury was recorded."
In the note sent to VTM, the PSP once again appeals to all drivers to "drive safely and not adopt behaviors that may reduce their capabilities, namely driving at excessive speed or under the influence of alcohol, or that are likely to cause distractions, such as using a cell phone while driving."
“Only with responsible and safe conduct on the part of all road users will it be possible to reduce accidents,” the Police added.
At a time when information is more important than ever, support regional and local journalism. Access to most VTM news is (still) free, but it's not free; journalism costs money and requires investment. This contribution is a way to directly support A Voz de Trás-os-Montes and its journalists. Our contribution is independent and local journalism, but not only that. It means continuing to report despite all the constraints of lockdown, without having to stop for a single day.
