Local elections: Ricardo Cipriano is the PS candidate for the Castro Marim City Council

After a long political cycle of 27 years led by the PSD, Castro Marim is experiencing a moment of political uncertainty, with an interim presidency that was not chosen by the citizens at the polls.
Ricardo Cipriano appears as a prepared and experienced candidate, with a solid project, committed to boosting the economic and social development of the municipality, for the Socialist Party ( PS ).
“In recent years, Castro Marim has been at a standstill, without any structural projects or vision for the future. This is the right time to turn the page. I want to establish a clear and ambitious future for our municipality, with concrete and rigorous proposals that respond to the needs of our families and businesses,” says Ricardo Cipriano.
Born in Castro Marim , where he grew up with his grandparents and developed a strong connection to his local roots, Ricardo Cipriano takes on this candidacy with determination. Currently vice-president of the Vila Real de Santo António City Council (VRSA), with responsibility for economic activities and tourism, he has stood out mainly for the implementation of structural projects that have directly benefited the local economy and sustainable tourism.
The application's priorities include the development of tourism, investment in industry and the creation of qualified jobs, in addition to the economic revitalization of the municipality through the strategic use of European funds.
"This is not a left or right-wing partisan project. It is a project for Castro Marim, for our community. We want to unite all citizens who want the best for our municipality," the candidate emphasizes.
