In Buryatia, a man killed his wife and daughter

A brutal double murder took place in Buryatia, the victims of which were a woman and her underage daughter. According to the Investigative Department of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation for the Republic, the crime was committed by the husband, who was in the process of divorcing the deceased.

On the night of June 7, the suspect came to the house of his wife, who was raising three children alone, and took her to the bathhouse to sort things out. During the argument, the man beat the woman and stabbed her multiple times. The daughter came running to her mother's screams, but the aggressor attacked the child as well - first hitting the girl on the head with a brick, and then with a knife in the neck and chest. Both victims died on the spot.

"According to the investigation, the suspect was going through a divorce and did not live with his wife, who was raising three minor children alone," the department reported.

After the murder, the perpetrator took his one-year-old daughter from home, took her to his common-law wife and disappeared. He was soon detained, and the issue of his arrest is currently being decided. The investigation qualified the suspect's actions under the article on the murder of two persons. During the interrogation, the man gave a detailed confession.
