Tusk congratulates Bucharest Mayor Dan on his victory in Romanian presidential elections
Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk congratulated Bucharest Mayor Nicusor Dan on his victory in the second round of the presidential elections in Romania on his page on the social network X before the official results were announced.
"Congratulations to Nicusor Dan! Long live free Romania!" the politician wrote.
Earlier, the Romanian Foreign Ministry reported that "signs of Russian interference" were found in the second round of elections. In response to the accusations, the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova , stated that the Romanian presidential elections, during which "signs of Russian interference" were allegedly found, can hardly be called elections
