Moscow Government Minister, Head of the Department of Urban Development Policy of the capital, which is part of the Complex of Urban Development Policy and Construction of the City of Moscow, Vladislav Ovchinsky reported that in the Sokolniki district (Eastern Administrative District) it is planned to reorganize a territory of more than two hectares within the framework of the program of integrated development of territories (IDT). The corresponding draft document was published on the official website of the Moscow government.

The territory is located between the railway tracks of the Yaroslavl and Leningrad directions of the Moscow Railway, and also borders on the high-speed highway — the Third Transport Ring. The address of the site: Sokolnichesky Val, property 37/10.

“The majority of the site will be allocated for the construction of a building to house the city’s production and utilities base, servicing the housing stock and courtyard areas of the Sokolniki district,” the press service of the Department of Urban Development Policy quotes Ovchinsky as saying.

The area of ​​the facility will exceed 5,000 sq.m. The project includes the construction of access roads and parking areas for easy access. Landscaping of the territory on a 0.47 ha plot is also planned.

The press service of the Department of Urban Development Policy added that this is the second KRT project in Sokolniki. The first is planned for Malenkovskaya Street, Building 30: residential buildings will appear there, as well as infrastructure — shopping and office centers, cafes and bank branches.
