Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis’s Cutest Moments at Trooping the Colour 2025

Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis’s Cutest Moments at Trooping the Colour 2025
preview for What Kate Middleton Wears to Weddings

On Saturday, Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis enjoyed a rare day in the spotlight at the 2025 Trooping the Colour event. The three Wales children usually join their parents, Prince William and Kate Middleton, at the annual celebration of King Charles’s birthday and they were clearly having fun this year.

Princess Charlotte was wearing a pale blue dress to match her mother’s Catherine Walker coat dress and hat. Her brothers were dressed in navy suits and red ties. Prince William wore his bright red military uniform. The whole family could be seen on the balcony together, playfully chatting, waving, and pointing out the spectacle as the Royal Air Force passed by the group.

The children arrived by car to Buckingham Palace, but were then taken in a horse-drawn carriage down The Mall in London. The two boys sat opposite Charlotte and Kate and could be seen giggling together during the ride.

The kids seemed especially reluctant to leave the balcony, with Prince Louis waving at the crowd behind his mom’s back as she ushered them away.

And Prince George seemed eager to direct his younger brother on waving etiquette during the parade.

In February 2023, Kate shared in an interview with Roman Kemp that “raising children today” is “tough,” and her kids certainly have some unique challenges as members of the royal family.

She continued, “It’s not about the number of toys they’ve got or the number of sort of trips that you go on with them. It’s just making sure that they’ve got the right emotional support around them and that comes from the adults in their lives.”
