In Primorsky Krai, regional hunting supervision specialists and residents of the village of Kozmino rescued a spotted deer cub injured by dogs. This was reported by the regional Ministry of Natural Resources.

“A report was received that a young spotted deer with a serious leg injury, presumably received from a dog attack, was spotted in Kozmino on the territory of the base not far from the boat garages,” the press service of the Ministry of Natural Resources reported.

Hunting inspectors arrived at the scene. They caught the deer, but it tried to escape from its rescuers by jumping into the sea.

Despite this, hunting inspectors, together with local residents, pulled the animal out of the water.

After the examination, he was taken to the Tiger rehabilitation center. There, veterinarians provided the injured fawn with the necessary assistance and then released him into a pen for further recovery, the Ministry of Natural Resources added.
