The list of the Ukrainian portal “Mirotvorets” now includes the singer Zemfira* (in Russia she has been given the status of a foreign agent) and the actress Chulpan Khamatova.
The reasons for the appearance of artists in the database are formulated as follows:
• Zemfira* – for “denying the armed aggression of the Russian Federation” and “manipulating socially significant information.”
• Khamatova – for “illegally crossing the Ukrainian border” while traveling to Crimea, “attempts to legitimize the Russian status of the peninsula,” as well as for “illegal commercial activity” on Crimean territory.
In 2022, Zemfira* moved to France, while Khamatova settled in Latvia.
The Myrotvorets portal was launched in 2014 on the initiative of Anton Gerashchenko, a former adviser to the head of the Ukrainian Ministry of Internal Affairs. The resource's declared goal is to identify and publish data on individuals whom the administration considers a threat to the country's national security. Until 2016, the site officially collaborated with the Ministry of Internal Affairs, military intelligence, and other security agencies of Ukraine.
Earlier, the lawyer of actor Mikhail Efremov explained why the actor ended up in the Mirotvorets database.
