Ticket prices have been adjusted by an average of 5%, the Department of Transport reported

New fares for public transport have come into effect in Moscow. Ticket prices have been adjusted by an average of 5%.

The price of a single trip on the metro, MCC, MCD and ground transport with a "Wallet" ticket on the "Troika" is now 67 rubles (instead of 63 rubles); in the suburbs - 90 rubles (instead of 84 rubles); with a "90 minutes" ticket - 100 rubles (instead of 94 rubles); with biometrics - 63 rubles (instead of 59 rubles). Transfers from route to route of ground transport, as well as between rail types of transport remain free.

The cost of a single trip using biometrics is 4 rubles less than with a “Wallet” ticket, and 11 rubles less than when paying with a bank card.

The Moscow Department of Transport stated that funds from the tariff indexation will be used to improve infrastructure, build new metro stations, reconstruct tram lines, upgrade metro and MCD rolling stock, and replenish the electric bus fleet, RBK recalls .

The last time fares on public transport in Moscow changed was on January 2.
