The UMMC Foxes won the Russian Basketball Super Cup for the fifth consecutive year, according to the Ural basketball club's press service.

The Yekaterinburg women's basketball team defeated the Orenburg team "Nadezhda" to win the Russian Basketball Federation (RBF) Super Cup. The game, held in Yekaterinburg, ended with a score of 83-81. The quarter scores were 21-15, 20-19, 17-22, and 25-25.

The most effective player was Ashley Michelle Beverly Kelly of Nadezhda, who scored 23 points. Among the UMMC Foxes, Jovana Nogic scored the most points (16).

The Russian Basketball Super Cup has been held since 2021, and UMMC basketball players have won all five years.

The Ural athletes will play their next match on November 2nd, away in Syktyvkar, where they will face NIKA-Luzales as part of the Fonbet Premier League.

As MK-Ural previously reported, on October 22, the UMMC basketball club confidently defeated the Novosibirsk Dynamo team in an away match. The quarterly scores were 13:28, 10:21, 16:20, and 18:22. As a result, the "Foxes" remained undefeated in the Fonbet Premier League.
