Magnitogorsk Metallurg head coach Andrei Razin commented on his team's away match, in which they lost 0-4 to Ak Bars.

According to the Magnitogorsk coach, his opponent's dedication and discipline allowed him to play a very good match. Although the Steelworkers also played well, mistakes prevented them from achieving a result. "We also played well, but in some places we lacked discipline, small things—instead of blocking, we got deflections into our own net," Razin said. "It was just the day; we couldn't score. After a fantastic game in Omsk, we had a disappointing match. I can't fault the guys; they tried hard. We weren't rolling around today, we weren't falling over, we weren't as artistic as some players."

Razin, however, disagreed with one journalist's suggestion that Metallurg has been experiencing a lot of bad stretches in its games. He believes the team is doing well, is in first place in the league, and has had plenty of good moments. While there are some issues, this is all completely normal.
