Ataşehir Municipality's 3rd Jazz and Cinema Days begins

The Ataşehir Municipality will organize the 3rd Jazz and Cinema Days from September 19th to 20th. On the first day of the program, the Ercüment Orkut Trio, one of the leading ensembles of the jazz world, will take the stage. Ercüment Orkut (piano) will be accompanied on stage by Kağan Yıldız on double bass and Volkan Öktem on drums. Following the concert, Pixar's three-time Oscar-winning film "Soul" (in its original language with Turkish subtitles), which both adults and children will enjoy, will be shown. On the second day of the event, Sibel Köse, one of Türkiye's most prominent jazz vocalists, will take the stage with the Sibel Köse Quintet, consisting of experienced musicians. Sibel Köse will be accompanied by Kürşad Deniz on piano, Kağan Yıldız on double bass, Bulut Gülen on trombone, and Berke Özgümüş on drums. Following the concert, the film "Yesterday" (in its original language with Turkish subtitles), which tells the story of a musician who realizes that only he knows The Beatles, will be released.

On the same day, a special concert will be given in collaboration with the Monheim am Rhein Municipality Music School and the Ataşehir Municipality Art Education Music Department. At the concert, organized as part of the Instrument Camp, an international musical gathering, students and teachers from both institutions will perform pieces they have prepared on instruments such as mandolin, violin, clarinet, alto saxophone, guitar, bass ukulele, and bağlama. This concert will not only be a musical performance; it will also be an unforgettable gathering reflecting the young people's innovation, their international friendship, and the enthusiasm of their joint productions. At the event, which will be held with the theme "Grab Your Chair and Come," the audience will experience music and cinema in a warm atmosphere.
