This week, a wide range of events will be held in cities around the world, from theater to concerts, film festivals to art fairs.
Founded by Gay Hutson in 1988, "British Art Fair", representing leading figures in 20th and 21st century British art, will be held in London, the capital of England, from September 25-28.
"ARTBO", one of the largest art fairs in Latin America, which aims to bring together art galleries, works, curators, collectors, artists and the public, will be presented to art lovers in Bogoto, the capital of Colombia.
UPCOMING FILM FESTIVALSDirected by Albert Wiederspiel, "Filmfest Hamburg" will kick off in Hamburg, Germany, on September 25. The festival will continue until October 4.
The "Reykjavik International Film Festival (RIFF)," held in Reykjavik, Iceland, and focusing on young talents, will meet moviegoers on September 25.
The Zurich Film Festival (ZFF) , held in Zurich, Switzerland, aims to support emerging directors from around the world and will premiere on September 25. The festival, which has three competition sections: Switzerland, Germany, and Austria, is directed by Christian Jungen.
The New York Film Festival (NYFF), one of the longest-running and most prestigious film festivals in the United States, organized by Lincoln Center Film, begins on September 26. Focusing on a main slate of approximately 30 feature films, the festival also includes additional sections for experimental cinema and new restorations. The festival runs until October 13.
THIS WEEK'S CONCERTSArtist Bryan Adams will meet his fans in Prince George, Canada tomorrow, in Kelowna on September 24th, and in Calgary on September 26th.
British rock band Oasis will perform at Wembley Stadium on September 27-28.
Yalın will perform at the Royal Albert Hall this evening.
Canadian rapper Drake will perform in Hamburg, Germany today and tomorrow.
Simply Red will meet the audience in Belfast, Northern Ireland tomorrow, Leeds, England on September 26, Manchester on September 27 and Glasgow, Scotland on September 28.
American rock band OneRepublic will meet music lovers in Glasgow, Scotland tomorrow, Manchester, England on September 24, London on September 26 and Amsterdam, Netherlands on September 28.
Riverdance will be performed at the New Wimbledon Theatre today.
Movies to be released in the USASix films will be released in US cinemas this week.
"One Battle After Another," starring Leonardo DiCaprio, Regina Hall, Sean Penn, Alana Haim, Teyana Taylor and Wood Harris, will be on the big screen on September 26. Written and directed by Paul Thomas Anderson, the film is inspired by Thomas Pynchon's 1990 novel "Vineland."
"Eleanor the Great," directed by Scarlett Johansson and written by Tory Kamen and starring June Squibb, Chiwetel Ejiofor and Jessica Hecht, will also meet the audience in "Bau: Artist At War," directed by Sean McNamara and starring Emile Hirsch, Tori Griffith, Josh Zuckerman, Inbar Lavi and Adam Tsekhman.
"BFFs," "Gabby's Dollhouse: The Movie" and "The Strangers: Chapter 2" will also be available for moviegoers in the US.
