The cause of death of Türkiye's first female racing announcer, Esen Gök, has been revealed.

Relatives of Tay TV presenter Esen Gök, who lives in Bakırköy, Istanbul, reported the incident to the police. With the help of a locksmith, police entered the house and found Gök's lifeless body hanging from a natural gas pipe by a sheet.
An initial investigation revealed that the door was locked from the inside, the key was in the door, and no signs of forced entry were found. An examination by the Forensic Medicine Institute determined that Esen Gök had committed suicide.
SUICIDE NOTE: A note believed to have been written by Gök was found in the house. The note read, "Sister, you are not responsible. You did nothing wrong. I was always looking for an excuse."
It was revealed that Esen Gök announced his annual leave during his last broadcast on Tay TV on Friday, July 11th. He had said, "I'm asking for a week's leave. 'A View of the Day from the Hippodrome' will of course be on the air next Monday."
