October 14 road condition bulletin: Intensive maintenance and repair work on highways

The General Directorate of Highways has published the road conditions bulletin dated October 14, 2025. Due to ongoing maintenance, repair, and construction work on many highways and state roads across Turkey , traffic flow is being controlled on some routes, while transportation has been temporarily closed in some sections.

Construction has begun on the Kamiloba bridge, approximately one kilometer long, between the Kumburgaz and Selimpaşa intersections of the O-3 Highway. As part of this project, the relevant section of the highway will be closed to traffic, with traffic being provided through the other platform. Work will begin on Tuesday, October 14, 2025, and will continue 24/7.

Due to superstructure work carried out between kilometers 8 and 14 of the Aydın-Denizli Highway, the Denizli direction was closed to vehicle traffic between October 13 and 23, 2025. Traffic continues in a two-lane, back-and-forth direction in the Aydın direction.

Work has begun on the expansion joint replacement bridge on the state highway overpass on the Karabük connection road between kilometers 0 and 3 of the Anatolian Highway. The Karabük section of the road has been closed to traffic as part of the work, which will run from October 10-20, 2025. Access is being diverted to the D100 state highway via the Karabük and Karabük-1 junctions.

Due to the superstructure repair works carried out on the 1st and 2nd kilometers of the TİS (Toprakkale-İskenderun) Highway between the İskenderun West Junction and the Free Zone Junction, transportation is provided in a controlled manner.

Traffic flow continues in a controlled manner within the scope of the superstructure repair works ongoing in various sections between the 33rd and 36th kilometers of the Afyonkarahisar-Uşak highway.

Bridge joint renovations are underway at the Municipality Houses Katlıyol Viaduct, kilometers 9-12 of the Samsun-Ordu highway. For this reason, the multi-level road is closed to traffic in the Ordu direction between 11:00 PM and 6:00 AM, with access being provided via a side road.

As part of the superstructure renovation work carried out between kilometers 0 and 5 of the Ordu-Giresun Provincial Border-Piraziz-Giresun road, the Piraziz-Giresun direction has been closed to traffic as of 07:00 on Tuesday, October 14, 2025. Transportation is being carried out in both directions from Giresun-Piraziz in a controlled manner.

Explosive excavation work will be carried out between kilometers 30 and 33 of the Seydişehir-Akseki-Manavgat highway. The road will be closed to traffic intermittently between 10:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday, October 14, 2025. During this period, the Cevizli-Derebucak-İbradı route has been designated as the alternative route.

Due to road construction work carried out on the Kazancı Junction branch lane between kilometers 10 and 12 of the Bursa-İnegöl highway, traffic is being controlled since October 8, 2025. Additionally, due to ongoing superstructure work on kilometers 0-1 of the Karabük-Eskipazar highway, traffic is being controlled in both directions of the divided highway and around the Kardemir Junction.
