Dilek İmamoğlu's striking statement after the appointment of a trustee to CHP Istanbul

CHP presidential candidate Dilek İmamoğlu, who is currently incarcerated in Silivri Prison and the wife of the dismissed Union of Turkish Municipalities and Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Ekrem İmamoğlu, reacted to the cancellation of the CHP Istanbul Provincial Congress and the dismissal of the administration.
Dilek İmamoğlu said, "Yesterday's decision by the CHP Istanbul Provincial Directorate, as well as the mayors, bureaucrats, politicians, and municipal workers who have been deprived of their freedom for months without a fair trial, remind us of the same truth: The law exists not to silence anyone; it exists to treat everyone equally, fairly, and impartially."
"THIS VOICE HAS NOT BEEN SILENT AND WILL NOT BE SILENT" İmamoğlu made the following statements:
"Where there is no justice, democracy suffocates. People's hope for an equal and free life diminishes with each passing day. Without democracy, social peace will be disrupted. The failure of the rule of law is the biggest problem facing our country's future. We will never accept these unjust practices against our leaders.
Our nation's hope and solidarity are stronger than all oppression. Our struggle to strengthen democracy and restore the rule of law grows every day. Our solidarity and hope for a brighter future for children and young people grow stronger. The voice of the people's conscience echoes throughout our country. This voice has not been silenced and will not be silenced.
