Recover your vehicle from the pound in one click

Who hasn't experienced the misfortune of not being able to find their vehicle parked where they left it? Was it stolen or impounded? If it's the latter, the hassle of getting it back is over. An online service allows you to check if your vehicle is really there and access your personal file. This online service also allows you to download an exit permit.

This service allows you to find out if the vehicle is currently impounded, to consult the impound file and to retrieve the release certificate allowing the vehicle to be released. Downloading this authorization thus makes it possible to avoid a trip to the police station or gendarmerie to obtain this release decision.

The following procedure must be followed:

• log in with FranceConnect;
• indicate your driving license number;
• enter the formula number entered on the vehicle registration certificate or, in its absence, the date of issue of the registration certificate.

Please note that not all pounds are yet integrated into this platform, particularly in Paris, which has its own online service ( https://oemv-fourrieres.paris.fr/fourrieres/ ). Use of this digital service is optional, as direct contact with law enforcement is still possible.
