Bari, mister Caserta has signed: he is officially the coach of the red and whites

SSC Bari welcomes Fabio Caserta, the new Technical Manager of the red and white First Team; the Calabrian coach has an agreement until June 2027.

Born in 1978 in Melito di Porto Salvo, Reggio Calabria, mister Caserta boasts a long career as a midfielder having worn, among others, the shirts of Catania, Palermo, Atalanta and Juve Stabia. It was with the Campania team that he ended his career as a footballer in the 14-15 season, starting, after a championship as assistant to mister Gaetano Fontana, his career as a coach with the 'wasps' in the 17-18 season; with the yellow and blues he achieved a surprising promotion to Serie B at the end of the 18-19 championship, mathematically winning Group C of Lega Pro already at the end of April, earning the coveted Panchina d'Oro award at the end of the season. In the 1920-21 season he sat on the bench of Perugia, which he brought back to the second division at the first attempt; he then moved on to lead Benevento, which he led to the playoff semi-final, being eliminated by Pisa by virtue of the worst position in the standings at the end of the regular season. After his experience with Cosenza, last year he led Catanzaro to the playoff semi-final.
