Fifth consecutive victory for the Italian women in the Volleyball Nations League. After the four successes in Rio de Janeiro, Italy scored a poker in their debut in Hong Kong, beating Bulgaria 3-1 (25-17; 23-25; 25-15; 25-15). A solid performance by the girls coached by Julio Velasco, who once again demonstrated clear progress both physically and technically, managing to overcome the blackout in the second set and overcoming the difficulties encountered against a Bulgaria team that was quite effective at serving. Tomorrow, at 11:30 Italian time, Italy will face Thailand, aiming to make it seven out of seven and then present themselves at the first big match of the week (Friday 20 June at 14:30 Italian time) against Japan in the best possible position in the rankings.
