Juventus officially signs Mbangula to Werder Bremen for €10 million plus €2 million in bonuses. Gatti extends his contract until 2030.

Juventus officially signs Mbangula to Werder Bremen for €10 million plus €2 million in bonuses. Gatti extends his contract until 2030.

Juventus has sold Samuel Mbangula , the 2004-born striker moving to Werder Bremen in Germany. The deal is "permanent for a fee of €10 million, payable over four financial years, plus variable bonuses of up to €2 million," the club announced in an official statement. "This transaction will generate a positive financial impact on the current financial year of approximately €6.9 million, net of ancillary costs," reads the Juventus statement. Also today, Federico Gatti signed a contract extension that will keep him at the club until 2030. The defender is set to receive a contract worth €3.1 million per season plus bonuses.

Another Portuguese player is set to join Turin: Joao Mario. Porto's right-back will now move to Juventus, while Alberto Costa will return. This deal will generate a capital gain for both clubs, as the Portuguese will pay €15 million plus €1 million in bonuses to Juventus. This figure is lower than the €20 million requested from Sporting, another club interested in Costa, but it still guarantees the Bianconeri an immediate capital gain. Meanwhile, the sale of Joao Mario is expected to generate revenue of around €12 million for the Portuguese club.

But Juve certainly isn't stopping there, because with Weah's departure to Marseille virtually certain, director Comolli is working to strengthen the right flank. Sancho, who was put on hold due to his high salary, is now being monitored, with Molina from Atletico Madrid, the experienced Lucas Vazquez, who recently released from Real Madrid, and Vagnoman from Stuttgart being the targets. Meanwhile, the acquisition of Francisco Conceicao is official. Porto will receive €30.4 million, payable in four financial years, plus ancillary costs of €1.6 million. The 2002-born player has signed a contract until June 30, 2030.
