1 thousand PLN for the best students

Until the end of this month, schools are still accepting applications for financial support for outstanding students from schools located in Przemyśl. Their principals have until July 10 to submit completed documents to the city hall.

In September of last year, a record number of students were awarded such scholarships. There were 219 scholarship recipients. Will this result be maintained in this year's awards? We will find out in some time.

The Scholarship of the President of Przemyśl will be awarded based on meeting one of the following criteria: very good academic results (the average grade on the certificate in the case of students of primary schools, the General Music School of the 1st degree and grades I-II of the General Music School of the 2nd degree must be no less than 5.6, and in the case of students of post-primary schools and grades III-VI of the General Music School of the 2nd degree no less than 5.4); obtaining the title of laureate of a national or international competition or tournament confirmed by a certificate (referred to in the regulation of the Minister of National Education and Sport of 29 January 2002); obtaining the title of laureate of a national or international artistic competition confirmed by a diploma (referred to in the regulation of the Minister of Culture and National Heritage of 21 November 2019) or obtaining high results in school sports competitions, which are understood as taking 1st place at the provincial level or places from 1 to 6 at the national or international level. In the latter case, the results must be confirmed by a diploma indicating the achieved result issued by the school attended by the student, together with information from the principal confirming the student's participation in sports competitions. Of course, a copy of the certificate, certified as a true copy of the original, and other documents confirming that the criteria have been met must be attached to the application. The scholarship amounts to 1 thousand PLN and is awarded once a year.
