More than 8 hours of discussion... President Bakun with a vote of confidence and discharge

The session's agenda was not extensive, but it was one of the most important meetings of this body throughout the year. It began with a presentation of the report on the state of the commune, which was presented (as was the later report on the implementation of the budget for 2024) by the city treasurer Monika Czuryk.
[middle1]Then came the time for discussion. As was to be expected, not all councillors had anything to say. After all, this is a session during which it is worth and necessary to ask questions, and not just dispassionately press the button "for", "against" or "abstain". There were many questions from the opposition in the city council. Such as: how much is the city's debt including interest, how much will the maintenance costs of the swimming pool under construction be, whether the city is considering building a new sports and entertainment hall, when will the adaptation of the span of the old railway bridge to a pedestrian and bicycle path/bridge begin, what investments will realistically be implemented as part of Integrated Territorial Investments (the city is currently announcing tenders for the preparation of cost estimate and design documentation), what is the situation with access to drinking water for city residents in the event of a natural disaster, is the city planning to build a centre for migrants, has the city started any talks on the future "reconstruction of Ukraine" - if so, with whom, and if not, why not? There were more questions.
President V. Bakun responded to most of them, treating others as... an attack and disgust for the city's residents...
