This will affect the blurring of the identity and autonomy of kindergartens (...)"

– they wrote at the beginning. This somewhat contradicts the assurances of the city authorities, who declare that nothing will change in the structure of the units. Kindergartens and primary schools will remain in their current locations, as will the charges of these facilities. Well, unless the directors know "something" more than the concept of creating teams explained at the time.

Directors believe that problems with the fluidity of management in small units indicate the need to strengthen organizational support, and not the need to eliminate their independence. The merger of a kindergarten with a primary school may result in a shift in priorities to the needs of older students, to the detriment of the youngest children, who require a separate didactic and educational approach. This will marginalize the educational needs of preschool children.

The authors of the letter argue that in small kindergartens, management functions are performed by people specializing in early childhood education. Including them in the structures of large schools will limit their decision-making and autonomy. There is a real risk that decisions regarding the work of the kindergarten will be subordinated to the logic and organization of the primary school. And this - in their opinion - will lower the quality of management and negatively affect the educational environment of children...
