A parade will take place along the streets of Świnoujście. The city celebrates the 260th anniversary of granting city rights

On Saturday, June 21, a large, colorful parade will pass through the streets of Świnoujście – an event that will remain in the memory of its residents for a long time. The occasion is no small one: the city is celebrating the 260th anniversary of granting city rights. On this day, everyone can manifest their bond with the island homeland by taking part in a unique march.
– We invite all residents – adults, children, entire families and groups of friends – to celebrate together – encourages Wojciech Basałygo from the Office of Information and Social Consultation. – The parade is to be joyful, loud and full of positive energy. Costumes are welcome – the more inventive and creative, the better! The most interesting costumes will be awarded, but everyone can take part – including those who simply want to be part of a common celebration.
The gathering of participants is planned for 1:45 p.m. at Mickiewicz Square, in front of the City Hall. The parade will start at 2:00 p.m. and will pass along the following route: Konstytucji 3 Maja, Grunwaldzka, Steyera, Daszyńskiego, Wybrzeże Władysława IV, Rogozińskiego and Jachtowa - up to the marina in the North Basin, where more attractions will await everyone.
The organizers encourage everyone to dress up creatively on this day and take to the streets to celebrate this special anniversary together.
