Drones flew over Odessa. Tragic consequences of Russian strike

On the night of Friday to Saturday, Russian attack drones attacked Odessa. A couple died and two children were among the wounded, reports Ukrayinska Pravda.

Odessa rescuers have pulled the bodies of a couple killed in a Russian drone attack from the rubble. It is known that one of the drones hit the upper floor of a 21-story apartment building , which caused a fire.

The fire spread to the 7th, 8th and 9th floors, and people were trapped in their own apartments. It was in that building that the couple lived, whose bodies were rescued after the fire was extinguished, as reported by the mayor of Odessa Hennadiy Trukhanov and the head of the Odessa regional military administration Oleh Kiper .

According to Kiper, two children were injured in the Russian attack on local medical facilities : a 7-year-old boy who is in moderate condition and a three-year-old who suffered from smoke inhalation. The official later reported four adults who were also injured. All were taken to hospital in moderate condition.

According to local authorities, Russian drones flew in from the Black Sea . Air defense was then activated.

For many Ukrainian towns, Russian drone attacks have become a tragic daily occurrence. On Friday, the Russian army attacked the Zaporizhia region with 312 drones. On the same day, the Russians also carried out 12 airstrikes on the region, the head of the Zaporizhia regional military administration, Ivan Fedorov , said.

In total, within 24 hours, the Russians carried out 459 attacks on 12 localities in the Zaporizhia Oblast , as a result of which at least two people were injured.
