– Regardless of whether we speak quietly, in a hushed voice or in a whisper – sitting together in a circle we can break down barriers and create real bonds. We want Londoners to join us in breathing life into “Whispers” – says Oskar Zięta. – Designing spaces – both public, private and entire cities – would make no sense without the voices that shape them, numerous, contradictory, sometimes silent. Let architecture give people the power to speak – loudly or in a whisper – adds Zięta.
Whispers: Oskar Zięta in LondonThe installation was prepared by Fleet Street Quarter BID in cooperation with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Poland, the Polish Cultural Institute in London, the Let's Art Foundation and On & On Designs as part of the UK/Poland Season 2025, organized together with the British Council. Until the autumn, Oskar Zięta's objects will be located on Ludgate Hill, in the business heart of London. What will happen to these works later? It is quite possible that they will remain on the Isles, perhaps they will end up in one of the London museums.

In music, people like Zięta are called multi-instrumentalists. Oskar is an engineer, architect, as well as a technology specialist, designer, entrepreneur and artist. The objects he has designed have become classics of European design, but this is only a fragment of what Oskar Zięta does.
