On June 6 they will face Moldova in a friendly in Chorzów, and four days later they will play for points away against Finland.

- The squad will be announced on May 27, three days after the last round of our Ekstraklasa and the day after the Ekstraklasa Gala. I think in the afternoon, maybe a little earlier - said the team's spokesman Emil Kopański.

The location of the match with Moldova means that this time the training camp will not take place in Warsaw, but in Katowice. In the past, the team's "home" in this city was the Monopol hotel, and it will be no different this time.

- We will start the training camp on June 2. Traditionally, the training staff will arrive at the hotel the day before. Training will take place at the new GKS Katowice facility - announced Kopański.

It is not yet known whether all the players will show up for the training camp as planned. For example, Piotr Zieliński and Nicola Zalewski will still be busy with important club duties on May 31st - their Inter Milan will play Paris Saint-Germain in Munich in the Champions League final.

What is known is that the match with Moldova, even if it is only a friendly, will go down in Polish football history. Kamil Grosicki will then wear the national jersey for the last time, i.e. for the 95th time.

The experienced Pogoń Szczecin player announced his retirement from the national team during Euro 2024 in Germany, at a special press conference at the team base in Hannover, but now he will have the opportunity to say goodbye on the pitch.

No details have been given yet about his appearance, but it is likely that - in keeping with the tradition of such farewells - Grosicki will start in the starting line-up, and will leave the pitch during the match, probably amidst applause from the fans and a lane formed by the players.

After the match against Moldova, the team will stay in Silesia for two more days.

- We are flying to Helsinki on June 8, in the afternoon. Earlier that day, we will conduct another training session in Katowice - informed the team's spokesman.

In the capital of Finland, the White and Reds will stay at the Crowne Plaza Hotel, located close to the Olympic Stadium.

Michał Probierz's players will play the next qualifying matches at the beginning of September - against the Netherlands in Rotterdam and against Finland in Chorzów.
