Pinhel – Chamber approved proposal to award the construction of the new Municipal Market

The Pinhel City Council approved, at its meeting on 4 June, the proposal to award the contract for the construction of the new Municipal Market – Pinhel Knowledge and Flavors. This is an investment that will cost around two million euros and aims to provide the city and the municipality with a local market, adapted to the needs of local traders and customers.
This work is part of the Contract for Territorial Development and Cohesion signed between CCDRC, CIM-BSE and the Municipality of Pinhel, benefiting from the funds available under CENTRO 2030.
The same meeting also approved the proposal to extend the opening hours of establishments selling food and beverages to the public in the municipality of Pinhel from 1 June to 30 September. During these months, which correspond to the high summer season, cafés, bars and restaurants may remain open until 4:00 am.
