Beira-Mar faces Gouveia in the Portuguese Cup

The draw for the first and second rounds of the Portuguese Cup is currently underway. For the first round of Portugal's premier football competition, 119 clubs were drawn, with 38 exempted from playing in the first round.
Regarding the region's teams, Sanjoanense and São João de Ver, from League 3, and União de Lamas, from the Portuguese Championship, were exempt.
The remaining 78 clubs were distributed geographically into seven series of 10 clubs and one of eight teams.
As for the remaining regional teams competing, Beira-Mar (Portuguese Championship), which has already won the competition, will play at Gouveia (Portuguese Championship). Also in Series D, we will have Castro Daire (Viseu District Championship) versus Anadia (Portuguese Championship) and Ovarense (Aveiro District Championship) versus Celoricense (Portuguese Championship). In Series C, there will be a district derby, with Florgrade (Portuguese Championship) hosting Sporting de Espinho (Aveiro District Championship).
The games are scheduled for the 31st of this month.
