CBF defines Copa do Brasil quarterfinal matches for next Tuesday: See the qualifiers

With eight teams qualified for the quarterfinals of the Copa do Brasil, the CBF will determine the matches for the next stage of the competition next Tuesday. The draw is scheduled for next Tuesday at the organization's headquarters in Rio.

The dates for the matches have already been set. The matches will take place between the weeks of August 27th and September 11th, as the base dates for the home and away matches. The eight teams will compete for four spots with an eye on the semifinals.

All participants who qualified for this knockout stage of the tournament have already confirmed their participation. Atlético-MG, Botafogo, Athletico-PR, Bahia, Corinthians, and Fluminense confirmed their participation on Wednesday.

This Thursday, CSA visited Vasco at São Januário Stadium and lost 3-1, qualifying for the tournament. At Rei Pelé Stadium in Maceió, CRB hosted Cruzeiro, with a 2-0 victory for Minas Gerais. Both matches had ended in stalemates in the first leg.

Of the eight teams guaranteed a spot in the quarterfinals, only Athletico-PR is not competing in the Brazilian Championship's Série A. The Paraná team secured their spot by defeating São Paulo on penalties in a match held in Curitiba.
