In 5 months, the perinatal center “released” 1,310 little Novgorodians

On the eve of the weekend, the Novgorod Regional Clinical Perinatal Center named after V. Yu. Mishekurin was visited by the acting governor of the Novgorod Region, Alexander Dronov. He inspected the equipment that was purchased this year under the national project "Family", and got acquainted with the work of the neonatal department, where they nurse children weighing even 480 grams. As reported by the center, in the first five months of 2025, they helped to give birth to 1,310 babies. By the way, 40% of the total number are now partner births: in case it is impossible to be in the delivery room, there is a separate room for fathers.

As for the purchased equipment, 54 units out of the planned 148 have been purchased and are currently in use. In total, the Novgorod Perinatal Center has received more than 200 million rubles from the federal and regional budgets this year under the national project "Family". The rest of the medical equipment will be delivered to the center in the coming months.
