In the Novgorod region, the wheels of a dump truck caught fire while driving

The day before at 14:58 the dispatcher of the 18th fire station of the 6th detachment of the regional fire service received a message about a fire in a heavy-duty truck at 23 km of the Demyansk-Yazhelbitsy highway. Upon arrival at the scene, 8 wheels of a semi-trailer loaded with crushed stone were observed burning. The fire was extinguished at 15:40. The truck was not damaged, there were no injuries.

In addition, on July 12, 4 fires were recorded in the region. In Demyansky and Chudovsky districts, uninhabited buildings caught fire, in Retle, Starorussky district, a residential building was saved, and in Krasnye Stanki, garbage was extinguished.

Let us add that the air temperature in Veliky Novgorod reached +29.3 yesterday (record +31.6 in 2010), and the day before, on July 11, -32.7 degrees (record +33.4 in 2021). Asphalt in conditions of open exposure to the Sun can warm up to +60.
