New Horizons, Agreements and Jobs: Alexander Dronov Summarizes the Results of SPIEF-2025

The 28th St. Petersburg International Economic Forum has ended, and the acting governor of the Novgorod region, Alexander Dronov, summed up the results. Thus, this year 28 agreements were signed at the forum, half of which were investment ones.

By the way, according to the Government of the Novgorod Region, our region entered the top 10 investment rating of the Agency for Strategic Initiatives (ASI). Novgorod region is in ninth place among the most attractive regions for investors. The investments themselves amounted to 20.1 billion rubles.

Among the most significant labor collaborations, a cooperation agreement was signed between ANO NPC Ushkuynik and JSC Concern Kalashnikov. The agreement provides for the opening of a common legal entity of both parties in the Novgorod Region – Kalashnikov Veliky Novgorod LLC. This leads to another important result of the SPIEF for the region – the creation of 1,800 new jobs.

Agreements have been signed, goals have been outlined - now the most important thing is to implement all the tasks.
