There are no plans to block the YouTube video hosting service in Russia. This was reported by State Duma deputy Sergei Boyarsky, RIA Novosti reports.

"Nobody is going to block anything. Nobody is blocking YouTube. Of course, everything can change, our partners behave differently. They react differently - some are interested in staying, some want to develop, some were ready at one time to "land" by opening an authorized representative office," the parliamentarian noted.

The deputy also emphasized that it was not the Russian side that began to create problems in cooperation with foreign platforms. On the contrary, the latter began to behave in a biased manner for political, economic and other reasons.

According to Boyarsky, Russia has always been hospitable and provided many opportunities for development. However, the platforms reacted differently to all external manifestations.

Earlier, MK wrote that in order to revive YouTube in Russia, Google needs to pay fines, the State Duma stated.
