The start date for online debt collection for housing and communal services has been announced

In Russia, next week, from July 1, an experiment will be launched, during which online information and debt collection for utilities will be worked out. It will last until June 30, 2026, follows from the published government decree, TASS reports.

According to the document, pilot regions will be identified where the experiment will take place. Such an order was given to the Ministry of Construction.

The planned activities are aimed at increasing public awareness of their housing and utilities debts. They are also intended to simplify the work of justices of the peace in making decisions on such issues.

It is noted that justices of the peace will receive electronic applications for debt collection. Paper versions will no longer be required. At the same time, the debtor will be warned on the State Services.
