Earlier, Vladimir Putin pointed out the problem of commissions, which ultimately fall on the shoulders of borrowers
Sber has cancelled the commission for developers under preferential mortgage lending programs. The changes come into effect on May 13.
Earlier, VTB announced the cancellation of the commission from May 12, TASS reports.
The issue of commissions was raised in April at an extended meeting of the State Council Presidium with the participation of Vladimir Putin. The Russian President indicated that their size reaches from 5% to 10%.
In mid-April, the head of the Central Bank, Elvira Nabiullina, stated that large Russian banks continue to charge commissions to developers, who in turn transfer these costs to the cost of housing.
