The budget received one and a half times more money than last year
The Federal Tax Service has disclosed for the first time the income from the new five-stage personal income tax scale.
It is reported that in the first quarter of this year, almost 38 billion rubles entered the federal budget. This is one and a half times more than last year, when only one gradation of the "tax on the rich" was in effect.
With each subsequent month, receipts under this article will increase exponentially, as more and more people cross the threshold of “increased” income, Izvestia writes.
All fees at rates above 13% go to the federal budget, and the remaining income goes to regional and municipal budgets.
