On April 25, Yaroslavl hosted a sports competition for schoolchildren as part of the Young Dynamo project.

The festival in the Yaroslavl region has become an annual event. This year, not only Yaroslavl schoolchildren and cadets took part in it. Teams from Moscow, the Voronezh and Vladimir regions, the Udmurt Republic, as well as new regions of Russia – the Donetsk and Lugansk Republics – arrived to participate. A total of 32 teams, more than 300 young men and women, took part in the competition.

The festival is held by the Yaroslavl branch of the All-Russian Physical Culture and Sports Society "Dynamo" with the support of the Government and the Governor of the Yaroslavl Region. As part of the implementation of the sports, youth, patriotic project "Young Dynamo Member".

The competition was held in two stages - for beginners. And for those who have been actively participating in training and competitions for a long time. In the first stage, the teams passed the GTO standards - pulled up, did push-ups, ran, assembled and disassembled a machine gun, and so on.

More experienced project participants completed more complex tests that required good athletic training: “Team Biathlon”, “Power Relay”, “Race of Heroes”.

The awards were presented to the young athletes by the head of the UFSB of Russia for the Yaroslavl region, the chairman of the Yaroslavl regional department "Dynamo" Aleksandr Vyacheslavovich Kumanyaev, the deputy chairman of the Government of the Yaroslavl region Vera Viktorovna Dargel, the chairman of the All-Russian physical culture and sports society "Dynamo" Anatoly Nikolaevich Gulevsky, as well as the heads of law enforcement agencies of the Yaroslavl region.

In addition, the most distinguished athletes received honorary badges of “Leader”, “Activist” and “Young Dynamo” from the hands of distinguished guests.
