Divers from Serpukhov won the All-Russian competition

In April, the All-Russian underwater sports competitions were held in the Achkarlak swimming pool (Kazan). More than 300 athletes took part in them, including those from the Serpukhov Urban District.

The strongest were identified in four underwater sports disciplines: diving, snorkeling, monofin swimming and classic fins swimming.

Athletes from the sports diving section of the Nadezhda Sports Palace competed in two age categories, participating in the fight for the distribution of twenty sets of diving awards. As a result, the divers from Serpukhov won 14 medals:

Polina Tovchigrechko - 4 medals in both pairs and individual exercises;

Maria Uryadchenko - gold in pairs in the obstacle course;

Margarita Tovchigrechko - gold in pairs in the obstacle course;

Vlada Unegova - silver in a pair in the obstacle course, bronze individually and bronze in a pair in the one-scuba diving distance;

Polina Khlystova - silver in a pair in the "obstacle course" and bronze in a pair in the "one scuba diving" distance;

Alexey Ermakov - two bronzes in the mixed pair and men's pair in the 50 and 100 m "one scuba" events;

Sergey Bizyaev - bronze in the men's 100m pair "one scuba diving".

Five athletes achieved the standard of Master of Sports of Russia, three confirmed the CMS rank.
