Türkiye-Syria security summit held in Ankara

Mazlum Abdi and Syria's Interim President Ahmed al-Shara met on Tuesday, October 7, and issues such as a ceasefire, the integration of military forces, constitutional amendments and the return of refugees were discussed .

The delegation from the Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria (Rojava) stated in a statement following the meeting that no official document was signed, but a "verbal agreement" was reached on four basic issues.

Abdi, in his statement last night regarding the contacts with Turkey, said , "A solution in Syria without Turkey is not possible."
