He just said yes to returning to the national team. Fans will be shocked

Number 1, at least in theory, in the eyes of the federation was Maciej Skorża. The problem, however, is that the Polish coach did not and does not intend to move from the Japanese league. The Polish Football Association, headed by president Cezary Kulesza, is also shelving the chances of hiring a foreign coach.
Will Adam Nawałka return to the Polish national team? Expressive words were saidThe group of potential successors to coach Michał Probierz seems to be shrinking more and more from week to week. Or maybe a middle ground, or a return to one of the former coaches? This was not ruled out from the very beginning of the media merry-go-round by president Kulesza himself, who was just elected for another term in Monday's elections .
Jerzy Brzęczek? Or maybe Adam Nawałka? The latter says "yes" to the Polish national team.
– I spoke with Adam Nawałka, there is a clear declaration: if the national team needs me, then “I am there” […] coach Nawałka has something about him and the players know it. He would be the ideal candidate who would be able to come in and sort it all out – said the former representative and director of the Polish team on TVP Sport.
The former coach has been out of work since 2019, after an unsuccessful adventure at Lech Poznań. Additionally, Nawałka was the idea of president Boniek from years ago, which in the case of the way Kulesza approached his predecessor as head of the Polish Football Association, seems to disqualify this candidacy from the start.
Example? Instead of Nawałka, Czesław Michniewicz turned out to be better in 2022 – after all, he has the additional burden of being associated with the dark times of so-called corruption scandals – which plundered league football years ago. Ultimately, Michniewicz's choice defended itself to the extent that this coach introduced the national teams to the 2022 World Cup, kept Poland in Division A of the Nations League, and finally advanced to the 1/8 finals at the World Cup. The latter was not achieved by any previous coach, going back to the previous such case, i.e. 1986 and the World Cup in Mexico.
But what good is it, since Michniewicz's contract was not extended anyway due to the so-called bonus scandal. At some point, the coach was left alone in the fight with the media, which was increasingly pushing for radical steps from the Polish Football Association. This is what actually happened, Michniewicz lost his job, and his successor was... Fernando Santos. There is no point in even mentioning his "catastrophic" term as the coach of the Poles.
